Timothy Spencer Axtell (8-275) 1848 - 1915

The photo shows Timothy and Anna surrounded by all nine of their children in front of their home on East Ninth Street in Oswego, NY. Judging by the appearance of the young boys (born 1886 and 1888), this photo is from about 1897.

The 1945 Axtell Genealogy incorrectly calls him Spencer Timothy Axtell. Also, it shows Anna's maiden name as "Graham" instead of "Garahan". Information from the 1945 Axtell Genealogy:
